Our mission is to help end hunger for children and families across Colorado.
Think about the last time you were truly hungry. The last time you searched for a meal, only to find your cupboards bare and your refrigerator empty. Then imagine that the few dollars you have left in your wallet are earmarked for your rent or utility bills, the money you need avoid homelessness and heat your home. What would you do? How would you manage? Avoid homelessness, only to go hungry? Or feed yourself, knowing that you’ll soon face eviction? Thankfully, many of us have never had to experience such hardships, but there are those who have.
The fact is, food insecurity isn’t just a global problem, it’s a local one as well. More than 700,000 women, children and men, right here in Colorado, experience hunger and food insecurity each and every day, many not knowing where there next meal will come from.
Making An Impact is dedicated to helping ensure healthy meals are delivered to those in need.

Technology & Platforms
Combining his professional expertise with his personal commitment to giving back, Riley sees his board service as a way to make a tangible difference. Technology may be his specialty, but community impact is his purpose.
For Riley, this work is deeply personal. Having grown up in a household that often faced financial challenges, he knows firsthand what it feels like to not always have enough. Today, he donates his time and energy so that children and families who may be struggling—just as he once did—can find the support they need. Riley believes that every meal provided has the power to not only ease hunger but also spark hope, and he is inspired by the chance to help create brighter futures for others.
Riley leads initiatives related to technology, online donation platforms, and ticketing systems for fundraising events. He also collaborates with Entertainment board leader Brian Balthazar to ensure events are successful, providing technical support and operational guidance where needed. By applying his technology and security skills, Riley helps strengthen the nonprofit’s digital foundation, ensuring every ticket purchased and every donation made directly supports the mission to fight food insecurity.
